Steph Markerink is a Melbourne-based writer, curator, and visual arts manager specialising in digital marketing and engagement for arts organisations. Her work is motivated by a drive to overturn gender bias in the arts, and to develop creative experiences that are community-oriented and accessible to all people. In 2020, Steph graduated from a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Art History and is now completing a Master of Arts and Cultural Management with a high-distinction average. 


Currently Steph works professionally as a Visual Communications Manager for Jumpleads NFP, while also undertaking two internships at Arts Project Australia and The Sheila Foundation. In her spare time, she directs Wonderful Aussie Women Artists, an online community where she researches artists and writes biographies to provide free, accessible, and engaging educational resources.
